Walmart is seeking a store supervisor in Houghton, MI. You will hire, train, mentor, assign duties, and recognize hourly associates while promoting an inclusive culture of belonging.

You’ll lead store operations, communicate objectives, and drive customer satisfaction through the One Best Way service model. The role emphasizes team development, adherence to policies, and delivering financial results through effective planning and cost control.

Competenze

• 2 years’ college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University (preferred).

• Supervise and develop hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing performance, and promoting belonging.
• Coordinate and oversee job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders and supporting plans to meet customer and business needs.
• Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and listening to associates; tour stores and provide feedback; communicate store objectives across levels.
• Model exceptional customer service by following the OBW service model and driving customer-focused initiatives.
• Drive financial performance by reviewing P&L statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
