H2ajobs is seeking a diligent farm worker in South Dakota to assist with cattle care and general farm duties. Responsibilities include feeding, treating, loading cattle, moving snow and maintaining yards, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Employer provides housing and meals, plus weekly transportation to grocery stores. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required. English proficiency is essential for daily communication.

Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: Attend to live farm animals including cattle by duties such as feeding, processing, treating; Move snow; Break ice in watering facilities and thaw pipes and fixtures; Work with bedding yards; Herd and load cattle onto trucks; Prepare yard to receive cattle; Organize area; Basic machinery use and servicing. Must speak and understand English.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

Experience wanted: 6 months

Six (6) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
