H2ajobs is seeking a farm laborer to care for cattle and other live animals on-site. Responsibilities include feeding, watering, herding, and loading, plus maintaining animal records and administering basic medications as needed.

The role requires the ability to work in extreme conditions and lift up to 50 lbs. Housing and meals are provided, with transportation to stores as described in the addendum.

Qualifications

• Must speak and understand English.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to obtain a valid driver's license within 30 days after hire.

Responsabilités

• Attend to live farm and ranch animals, including cattle, feeding, watering, herding, grazing, and loading.
• Maintain records on animals and inspect for diseases or injuries; administer medications or vaccines as appropriate.
• Clean and maintain animal housing areas; inspect, prepare and repair livestock facilities, buildings, pens, yards and fences.
• Lift and move supplies; work in extreme heat, humidity, wind or cold.

Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include cattle; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, catching, bedding, and loading animals; Maintain records on animals; Load and unload cattle; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Clean and maintain animal housing areas; Inspect, maintain, prepare, and repair livestock facilities, buildings, pens, yards, and fences; Break ice. Must speak and understand English.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license within 30 days following hire and obtain clean driving record to be able to operate company vehicle. Lift up to 50 lbs.
