Job summary

H2ajobs in Missouri is seeking a farm laborer to tend cattle and perform related duties on-site. Responsibilities include feeding, treating, and loading cattle, as well as snow removal and maintenance of yards and structures.

Applicants must speak English and be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Housing and meals are provided, with transport details outlined in Addendum C. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required after hire.

Qualifications

• One (1) month of recent and verifiable farming experience is required.
• Must be able to obtain a valid driver's license after hire and maintain a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Attend to live farm animals including cattle by duties such as feeding, processing, treating.
• Move and haul snow; break ice in watering facilities and thaw pipes and fixtures.
• Work with bedding yards; maintain, fashion, repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures such as fountains, gating, feed bunks.
• Drive feed truck and loader; scrape floors and yards; herd and load cattle; prepare yard to receive cattle.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
