Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking workers to tend live farm and ranch animals, including cattle. You will feed, water, herd, and load animals, and assist in administering medications as needed. You will also move livestock between locations and help keep animal housing clean and safe.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in extreme conditions, and follow instructions. Housing and meals are provided; random drug testing may be conducted after hire.

Job description

Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include cattle; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, and loading animals; Assist in administering medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Move livestock from one location to another; Clean and maintain animal housing areas; Build, repair and maintain woven and barbwire fences and gates. Must speak and understand English.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. . Lift up to 50 lbs.
