Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead operations in a specialty retail farm and ranch store. You will support the Store Manager in achieving financial results, driving Legendary Customer Experience, and developing Team Members while ensuring daily store execution.

You’ll oversee sales, service, front-end operations, and compliance, working with the Store Manager to guide store-volume leadership and future growth in designated stores.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous retail leadership experience is required.
• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations, including driving sales and profit.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Experience and coach team members.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and banking tasks.
• Support hiring, training, and policy enforcement across the team.
• Maintain loss prevention and safety standards.
