Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to supervise daily store operations, support the Store Manager, and lead a team in a specialty farming and ranch environment. The role emphasizes driving sales, delivering Legendary Customer Experience, and ensuring safe, compliant store execution.

You will manage front-end operations, staff development, and daily routines while aligning with store-volume leadership.

Qualifications

• Retail leadership experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; reading, writing, and counting ability required.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations, including sales and service, opening/closing routines, and front-end execution.
• Support the Store Manager in driving sales, profit, and daily execution.
• Develop Team Members through coaching and training.
• Ensure customer loyalty and a positive shopping experience with Legendary Customer Experience.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and policy implementation.
• Perform cash handling and ensure compliance with safety and security standards.
