Rural King is seeking a Sales Consultant to provide knowledgeable sales support across agricultural, power equipment, farm, lawn and garden, tools, and home essentials. You will help customers find the right products, support financing, special orders, and store operations.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, active listening, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in sales, customer service, retail, or agriculture-related roles preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS/inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs, applications, preferences, and budget to recommend products and solutions.
• Provide product information, explain features and benefits, and conduct demonstrations as needed.
• Build customer relationships through exceptional service, follow-up and issue resolution.
• Use upselling and cross-selling techniques to support sales goals and promotions.
• Provide product expertise across power equipment, farm equipment, tools, lawn and garden, and home essentials.
• Assist with financing documentation for equipment purchases and process special orders.
• Maintain store presentation and assist with receiving, moving and displaying merchandise.
• Process sales, returns, and transactions using POS and store systems.
• Collaborate with team to achieve sales goals and participate in training.
