Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Sales Consultant to assist customers across agricultural, power equipment, farm, lawn and garden, tools, and home essentials. You will provide product knowledge, demonstrate features, and guide customers to the right solutions while supporting financing, special orders, and store operations.

You’ll build relationships through outstanding service, upsell where appropriate, and help maintain store presentation and inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; agriculture-related education or certifications preferred.
• Previous sales, customer service, retail, agricultural, or related experience preferred.
• Strong communication, active listening, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and budget to recommend products and solutions.
• Provide product information, explain features, and demonstrate when needed.
• Build relationships through exceptional service, follow-up, and issue resolution.
