McGowan Insurance Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Farm Lines Account Manager to manage a portfolio of large farm insurance accounts and related personal and commercial lines. You will deliver exceptional service, renewals, and risk management guidance while supporting retention and growth objectives.

The role emphasizes building strong client relationships, coordinating policy marketing with carriers, and identifying cross-selling opportunities to enhance client coverage and agency

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Indiana Property and Casualty license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial/personal lines account management; farm experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of brokerage operations and insurance laws/codes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with agency management systems.

Responsabilités

• Manage and service a portfolio of large farm insurance accounts including related personal and commercial lines.
• Serve as primary client contact via phone, email, mail, and in-person visits.
• Analyze client operations and risk exposures to identify coverage gaps and suggest solutions.
• Prepare proposals, summaries, and schedules to support new and renewal business.
• Process policy transactions including new business, renewals, endorsements, and invoices.
• Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system.
