Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Sales Consultant to aid customers across agricultural, power equipment, farm, lawn and garden, tools, and home essentials. You will provide product information, demonstrate items as needed, and help customers find the right solutions.

You’ll support sales goals through upselling and cross-selling, assist with store operations, and participate in training to stay current with policies and procedures. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; agriculture-related education or certifications preferred.
• Previous sales, customer service, or retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, active listening, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and budget to recommend products and solutions.
• Provide product information, explain features and benefits, and conduct demonstrations when needed.
• Build customer relationships through exceptional service, follow-up, and issue resolution.
