Job summary

Riesterer & Schnell Inc. in Wisconsin seeks a Service Technician to service, repair, recondition and assemble equipment, both new and used, primarily in the shop with some field travel.

The position offers a starting wage range of $25-40/hr based on experience. Responsibilities include accepting repair orders, diagnosing issues, coordinating with the Parts Department, completing inspections, and promoting dealership programs.

Qualifications

• Three plus years of previous related experience preferred.
• Associates Degree in agricultural equipment, diesel technology, and/or other equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of farm equipment preferred.
• Must have own tools.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Accepts repair orders as assigned by the Service Manager.
• Diagnose problems and determine repairs needed.
• Repair, service, recondition or assemble equipment as approved by the customer/Service Manager.
• Obtain necessary parts with Parts Department staff.
• Completes service inspections and makes repair recommendations.
• Promotes marketing programs to customers to drive sales.
• Responds to after-hours calls in a timely, professional manner.
• Maintains a safe, clean work area and follows safety guidelines.
