Job summary

Riesterer & Schnell, a long-standing John Deere dealer in Wisconsin, is seeking a Service Technician in Campbellsport, WI. You will diagnose, repair, recondition and assemble equipment, with some field travel anticipated.

Expect to work in a shop setting with safety priorities and customer communication. Preferred candidates have 3+ years of related experience, an associate degree in agricultural equipment or diesel technology, knowledge of farm equipment, and own tools.

Qualifications

• Three plus years of previous related experience preferred.
• Associates Degree in agricultural equipment, diesel technology, and/or other equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of farm equipment preferred.
• Must have own tools.
• Must have a valid driver's license and insurable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Accepts repair orders as assigned by the Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, Service Writer or assigned person.
• Diagnose problems and determine what repairs are needed. Coordinate with Service office staff in communicating necessary repairs to customer and obtaining approvals.
• Repair, service, recondition or assemble equipment as approved by the customer/Service Manager.
• Obtains necessary parts working cooperatively with Parts Department staff.
• Completes service inspections on equipment, making recommendations on repairs needed.
• Maintains a clean, safe and organized work area.
