Gustave A. Larson Company is seeking a Fargo Market Manager to lead our HVAC/R distribution location with full P&L authority.

You will own sales, operations, inventory, and talent, building a high-performance team and driving results in a fast-paced wholesale environment. You'll recruit, coach, and develop staff, partner with sales leadership to grow market share, and ensure safe, compliant operations while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience running a branch, location, or business unit with full team responsibility.
• Proven track record of growing sales while maintaining margin and operational discipline.
• Budget and P&L ownership; strong inventory and operating metrics knowledge.
• Strong analytical and decision-making instincts; comfortable with numbers.
• Coaching skills that develop people and reduce turnover.
• Customer-first mindset and relationship-building abilities.
• Comfort using an ERP system to manage inventory, pricing, and reporting.
• HVAC/R wholesale distribution experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Full P&L accountability for Fargo location, driving sales growth and operating efficiency.
• Recruit, coach, and build a bench to sustain operations for years to come.
• Set tone for responsive, accurate customer experience with key contractors.
• Partner with Sales leadership to grow market share and win strategic initiatives.
• Balance product availability with turns to optimize inventory.
• Read and act on operating and financial metrics; present results to senior leadership.
• Uphold safety and policy standards while continuously improving processes.
