B&A Precision is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to take ownership of setup and operation on multi-axis vertical mills. You will edit Fanuc programs, adjust G-code, and ensure parts stay within tight tolerances while maintaining a smooth production flow.

Bring 5+ years of hands-on experience with CNC milling, Fanuc controls, and position indexers. A detail-oriented, team-focused mindset is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Own the setup and operation of multi-axis vertical mills, up to 5-axis, ensuring parts meet specs.
• Interpret blueprints with GD&T considerations and apply checks during setup and run.
• Make accurate Fanuc edits and G-code changes as needed to maintain tolerance.
• Collaborate with teammates to keep production flowing and communicate progress clearly.

You’ll report to the shop President and work shoulder to shoulder with a team that values precision and accountability.What Success Looks Like3-, 4-, and 5-axis VMCs are set up efficiently, running reliably, and producing in-tolerance parts.Fanuc control edits and basic G-code changes are made accurately and quickly.Blueprints are interpreted correctly, with GD&T considerations applied where relevant (knowledge desirable).First-piece and ongoing checks with micrometers, calipers, and gauges confirm quality.Team members can depend on you to collaborate, communicate, and deliver.What You Bring5+ years setting up and operating CNC milling equipment.Hands-on experience with Fanuc controls and basic programming in G-code.Ability to program and work with positional indexers.Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, plus a team-first mindset.The Nuts and BoltsSchedule & Pay: Full-time, 1st shift.
