Dairy Queen in Milan, TN seeks a skilled Restaurant General Manager to lead a motivated team in delivering fan-first service and strong results. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of GMs experience in quick service, with proven coaching ability, strong inventory controls, and a commitment to food safety.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of restaurant management experience with profit and loss responsibility
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong hospitality and customer service skills with a proven coaching track record
• Knowledge of COGS and labor management
• ServSafe certifiable with strong knowledge of safe food handling practices

Responsibilities

• Be a proud ambassador of the Dairy Queen brand, maintaining professionalism in every task
• Warmly greet and welcome fans to ensure a fun and loving atmosphere
• Lead dining room and kitchen operations to exceed fan expectations with timely, quality service
• Develop and execute the restaurant’s business plan alongside the owner to optimize sales and profit
• Manage inventory, cash controls, and meet Dairy Queen brand standards
• Hire, train, coach, and develop a highly skilled and enthusiastic management team and crew
• Create a safe, clean, and inviting environment for both fans and team members
• Ensure food safety is the top priority and enforce safe food handling practices
• Implement PRIDE systems and routines to set each shift up for success
• Resolve fan concerns calmly, embracing Dairy Queen’s service recovery standards
• Promote local, regional, and national marketing efforts to attract new fans and grow sales
• Maintain a positive attitude and genuine passion for excellence at all times
