BoxLunch in Columbus, OH is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 to assist the store leadership team in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving sales. You’ll train new recruits, share product knowledge, and help ensure the team meets performance targets while embracing our pop-culture fandom culture.

You’ll open and close the store, manage transactions, and promote services like BOPIS and curbside pickup.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail store experience or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and maintain professionalism.
• Operations knowledge including register handling and store duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience to encourage customer return, leveraging product knowledge and customer service.
• Cover the sales floor and provide leadership support when the Manager is away.
• Open and close the store as needed.
• Process sales transactions and promote add-on services like BOPIS and curbside pickup; communicate shortages or overages to the Store Manager.
• Understand store sales plan, goals, and KPIs (UPT, ADT).
• Assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix.
• Share fashion trend information with management and HQ partners.
• Help prevent theft and misuse of spells and wizardry with Store Management.
• Support maintenance of the stock room and overall store tidiness.
• Help develop and retain a collaborative, passionate team to run the store.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Store Leader.
