Job summary

Durham County Council is recruiting Sessional Supporting Family Time Workers to help deliver supervised family time sessions across County Durham. You will supervise and observe contact between children, young people and families, ensuring safe, positive interactions while completing accurate recordings and reports.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in a relevant children’s services field or equivalent (or working towards social work qualification).

Responsibilities

• Provide family time sessions at a range of venues.
• Supervise and support children, young people and families during family time sessions.
• Complete accurate, timely and professional recordings and reports.
• Support the Team Leader and Team Manager to ensure safe service delivery and risk management.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and liaise with social workers and partner agencies.
