Job summary

Young Camden Foundation is seeking a dedicated Children’s Support Worker in the United States on sessional/zero hours contracts. You will help children and young people develop confidence through engaging activities, tailored support, and one-to-one interactions in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of child development and diverse needs.
• Relevant qualification to work with children and young people.
• Awareness of safeguarding practices and health and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Deliver creative workshops, play sessions, and activities tailored to children’s needs on a 1:1 basis.
• Support children in accessing community facilities and building social networks.
• Act as a key worker, developing person-centred plans that empower each child to achieve their goals.
• Assist with personal care, while promoting dignity and independence.
• Conduct client needs assessments and reviews.
