Job summary

Mainstream Nonprofit Solutions in Salina, KS, is seeking a Full-time Family Support Specialist to help families through the Family Preservation Program. You will provide daily direct and indirect support in home, school, and community settings, working with case managers and therapists to implement tailored plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily direct and indirect support to families in home, school, and community settings.
• Coordinate community resources (healthcare, childcare, housing, employment, benefits).
• Collaborate with case managers and therapists to implement case plans.
• Offer emotional support, coaching, crisis intervention, and parenting guidance.
• Assist families with accessing services such as SNAP, Medicaid, SSI, and employment support.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and prepare records for audits.
• Identify and address barriers to family engagement and service success.
• Transport clients as required and attend court proceedings when applicable.
• Support ongoing communication between families and service providers.
• Promote teamwork, cultural sensitivity, and agency values.

Position Summary
