Job summary

Mainstream Nonprofit Solutions, Inc. in Kansas is seeking a dedicated professional to provide direct and indirect support to families in the Family Preservation Program, promoting child safety, stability, and well-being.

You will work closely with case managers, therapists, and community partners to ensure families receive necessary services and meet case plan goals. Responsibilities include coordinating resources, offering emotional support and crisis coaching, assisting with benefits

Responsibilities

• Provide daily direct and indirect support to families in home, school, and community settings
• Coordinate community resources (e.g., healthcare, childcare, housing, employment, benefits)
• Collaborate with case managers and therapists to implement case plans
• Offer emotional support, coaching, crisis intervention, and parenting guidance
• Assist families with accessing services such as SNAP, Medicaid, SSI, and employment support
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and prepare records for audits
• Identify and address barriers to family engagement and service success
• Transport clients as required and attend court proceedings when applicable
• Support ongoing communication between families and service providers
• Promote teamwork, cultural sensitivity, and agency values

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license and ability to transport clients
