TFI Family Services, Inc. in Kansas seeks a dedicated direct support professional to aid families in the Family Preservation Program. You will work with case managers, therapists, and community partners to promote child safety, stability, and well-being.

Responsibilities include coordinating resources, offering emotional support, crisis intervention, and helping families access SNAP, Medicaid, SSI, and employment services, while ensuring timely documentation and adherence to client plans.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to transport clients.

• Coordinate community resources such as healthcare, childcare, housing, employment, and benefits.
• Collaborate with case managers and therapists to implement case plans.
• Offer emotional support, coaching, crisis intervention, and parenting guidance.
• Assist families with accessing SNAP, Medicaid, SSI, and employment support.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and prepare records for audits.
• Identify and address barriers to family engagement and service success.
• Transport clients as required and attend court proceedings when applicable.
• Support ongoing communication between families and service providers.
• Promote teamwork, cultural sensitivity, and agency values.
