Job summary

WestCare in Doral, FL is seeking a Family Support Worker to transport clients and supervise visits to ensure a safe environment. The role includes documenting interactions, orienting families, and coordinating with case management staff to facilitate visitation.

Responsibilities include on-call transport, scheduling visits, maintaining safe visit rooms, and entering required records within set deadlines. A high school diploma and Florida driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Florida driver’s license within 30 days of hire with daily access to a reliable and insured vehicle.
• Two years of experience in human services or child welfare programs.

Responsibilities

• Transports clients.
• Impartially observe visits between clients and family members and document observations.
• Enter documentation into the required system within established timelines.
• On-call responsibilities include transporting, supervising clients, and assisting Full Case Managers.
• Provide transportation, visitation and logistical support to operational teams.
• Set up visitation plans and schedules for families.
• Directly transport clients to visits, medical appointments, and other activities.
• Assist in program data collection and data entry to maintain records.
• Report incidents and accidents within required timeframes.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Florida Driver’s License within 30 days from hire

Two (2) years of experience in human services or child welfare programs
