Job summary
One Hope United in Tampa, FL is seeking a Family Support Specialist Lead to supervise the transportation team and coordinate services for children and families in the DCF system, Foster Care, and In-Home Services.
You will drive the transport, document visits, and collaborate with caseworkers, schools, and partners to support family stability and reunifications. A strong background in childcare and supervision is required.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in business or related field.
- Three+ years’ experience with transportation; three+ years in a childcare field; supervisory experience.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; OHU insurance requirements; geographic knowledge of the area.
Responsibilities
- Drives personal vehicle to transport clients.
- Documents visitation notes in FSFN.
- Oversee daily activities of family support workers.
- Maintain transportation logs daily.
- Coordinate with supervisors and partners to schedule transport.
- Prepare and submit expense vouchers.
- Attend meetings and trainings.
- Assist with placements changes and reunifications.
- Support child visitations and supervise when needed.
- Liaise with DCF, schools and other collaterals.
