The Florida Department of Children and Families is seeking a Family Support Worker to assist with child welfare services in Saint Lucie County. This role involves coordinating transportation for families, supporting investigators and social workers, and maintaining detailed client records.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and may benefit from Spanish/Creole language abilities and basic Microsoft Office skills.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of vehicle safety and maintenance.
• Knowledge of State Travel Management System (STMS).
• Knowledge of My Florida Market Place (MFMP).
• Spanish/Creole language ability considered a plus.
• Basic Microsoft Suite knowledge (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Telephonic skills with multiple lines preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate transportation for families.
• Maintain state vehicles and perform minor preventive maintenance.
• Assist investigators and social workers with caseloads.
• Liaise with community agencies and service organizations.
• Provide phone and client contact support.
• Submit and review reports with supervisor.
• Maintain and update client files and case reports.
• Participate in trainings.
