Job summary

Texans Together seeks a Family Support Program Administrator to lead our Family Support programs, including FGDM, Kinship Services, Local Permanency Services, and related family-centered services.

You will guide strategy, oversee performance, ensure contract compliance, and build partnerships with DFPS and community partners to improve outcomes for children and families. This role reports to the Director and requires strong leadership, collaboration, and a commitment to trauma-informed practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. Relevant experience considered in lieu of education requirement.
• Minimum seven (7) years’ progressively responsible experience in child welfare, family support services, youth services, permanency, foster care, Community-Based Care, or related human services program.
• Minimum five (5) years’ supervisory or management experience overseeing multiple programs, supervisors, or organizational units.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall leadership, direction, and administrative oversight for Family Support programs, including Family Group Decision Making, Kinship Services, Local Permanency Services, and other family-centered services.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates strategic plans, operational priorities, and initiatives aligned with organizational goals, CBC requirements, and contractual expectations.
• Leads program implementation, expansion, transformation, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Promotes a culture of hope, accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Identifies emerging needs and develops strategies to strengthen service delivery and family outcomes.
• Reviews performance data, case outcomes, and stakeholder feedback to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
