Job summary

MercyFirst in Brooklyn, NY seeks a Family Support Case Planner to stabilize families in crisis using Solution Based Casework. Home visits are required to assess safety and address issues related to IPV, mental health, substance use, and school difficulties.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1+ years of experience with children/families, proficiency with Word/Outlook, and a strong commitment to DEIB and the agency mission. A $1,000 hiring incentive applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Mental Health
• 1+ years of related work with children and/or families

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
