Job summary
La Casa de Don Pedro, Inc. in Newark seeks a Family Partner to support the Family Success Center Coordinator in daily administration and operations of the Community Empowerment pillar’s Family Success Centers.
You will partner with individuals, families, and community partners to build relationships, respond to family needs, and connect them to local resources, while fostering parent involvement and leadership within the center.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Social Services or equivalent required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills required.
- Experience in community-based services or human services is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Orient and introduce families to the Family Success Centers.
- Connect families with resources and services in the community.
- Assist in maintaining the Family Success Centers’ environment and furnishings.
- Provide information about service programs to families.
- Debrief with families to identify needs and goals and link to FSC resources.
- Foster parent involvement and leadership at the Family Success Centers.
- Identify community resources and opportunities for collaboration.
