Job summary

The Community Group in Andover, MA is seeking a Family Specialist to help families navigate EEC state subsidies for early education, after school programs, and camps. You will manage intake, determine eligibility, and ensure proper documentation while maintaining accurate subsidy records.

Responsibilities include updating the EEC waitlist, coordinating resources, and supporting families with benefits access.

Qualifications

• Must meet EEC regulatory qualifications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Well organized with satisfactory computer skills.
• Travel locally required.
• Background in childcare or bilingual (English/Spanish) helpful.

Responsibilities

• Oversee intake and enrollment for children qualifying for EEC state subsidies.
• Assess family needs at intake and reauthorizations and provide resources as needed.
• Add families and update family information on the EEC centralized waitlist.
• Maintain all documentation and files associated with the family.
• Manage a caseload of clients.
• Respond to common inquiries or issues from families; use of proprietary software.
• All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
