Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills interacting with diverse families.
• Ability to listen patiently and respond to problems promptly.
• Knowledge of customer service ethics, principles, and procedures.
• Ability to manage Outlook email and navigate the Internet.
• Excellent computer skills including data entry and creating pdfs.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work tasks.
• Maintain electronic records and documents per agency policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide an explanation of ELRC services and childcare subsidies to families.
• Interview and support families to obtain information and determine eligibility.
• Respond to family inquiries by phone or email within 24 hours.
• Accurately process applications and redeterminations for timely eligibility.
• Assist families with selection and enrollment in quality childcare settings.
• Coordinate with other programs and services for the child and family.
• Maintain case notes and data in required systems (Pelican, SharePoint, On-Base).
• Attend team meetings and adhere to attendance policies.
