Job summary

The Salvation Army Grovetown Family Store is seeking a Store Supervisor to plan, administer, and monitor daily operations with a small team. You will ensure budget adherence, create attractive displays, rotate stock, and assist customers while training volunteers and enforcing store policies.

You will supervise donation intake, coordinate pickups, and maintain accountability for all items and funds in a compliant, customer‑friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Two years progressively responsible experience in a retail store with at least one year supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; equivalent combinations accepted.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Administers and monitors the day-to-day operations of a Family Store; meets sales, production, and expense budget goals.
• Trains staff in proper methods and procedures; inspects work for accuracy and completeness.
• Plans, displays, and rotates merchandise to encourage stock turnover; coordinates promotions.
• Supervises donation processing, pickup scheduling, and warehouse activities; ensures accountability of items and funds.
• Upholds all Salvation Army policies and safety standards; maintains attendance and reliability.
