Job summary

The Salvation Army in Augusta, GA is seeking a Store Supervisor to assist the Family Store Manager with daily operations in both the family store and warehouse. You will train staff, monitor progress, and ensure accurate cash handling and timely deposits, while keeping shelves well stocked and displays appealing.

You will help customers locate items, explain policies, and support team members in solving routine issues. A high school diploma or GED and 1 year of retail experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of retail store experience; Salvation Army store experience preferred.
• Experience supervising co-workers or staff is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and participate in day-to-day Family Store and warehouse operations.
• Train and instruct employees in methods and procedures; monitor work quality.
• Oversee cashier activities and ensure accurate sales recording and deposits.
• Assist customers, resolve routine problems, and explain store policies.
• Maintain attractive displays and stock levels; price items to ensure turnover.
