Job summary

The Salvation Army Augusta Family Store is seeking a dedicated supervisor to oversee daily store and warehouse operations. You will supervise staff, manage cashier activities, assist customers, and maintain appealing displays.

A high school diploma or GED is required, with at least one year of retail experience, preferably in a Salvation Army setting. Responsibilities include pricing, policy explanations, and training employees, ensuring compliance with policies, and assisting in special tasks

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience preferred, ideally in a Salvation Army store.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience willing to consider.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day operations of the Family Store and warehouse.
• Oversees cashier activities, ensures accuracy and security of funds.
• Assists customers with locating items and explaining store policies.
• Maintains and rotates store displays to stay attractive and well-stocked.
• Sets prices to ensure fast turnover while achieving fair value.
