Job summary

SCAN is seeking a Family Services Coordinator for the Families United Program in Texas. This full-time role partners with families, schools, and providers to coordinate behavioral health, education, housing, and community resources, promoting trauma-informed, family-driven services.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a related field, 1 year of relevant experience, and bilingual English/Spanish skills. A Texas driver's license and background checks are required. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• 1 year minimum experience with adolescents, young adults, and families in behavioral health or related settings.
• Experience with case management, family support services, or care coordination preferred.
• Knowledge of family systems, trauma-informed care, recovery principles, and community resources.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Valid TX driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Engage families as active partners in treatment and recovery.
• Conduct family needs assessments and develop support plans.
• Provide care coordination across behavioral health, medical, and education services.
• Educate families about mental health and recovery options.
• Facilitate family support groups and educational workshops.
• Navigate families through complex service systems and referrals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and outcomes.
• Support participant engagement and reduce barriers to treatment participation.
• Coordinate relationships with schools and community partners.
