Job summary

Family Support Services is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Thriving Texas Families program in Texas. You will lead two CARE Coordinators, guide parenting education, mental health support, and family engagement activities.

Work closely with the Director of Prevention and Advancement to ensure training, resources, and program quality. Ideal candidates will excel in communication, staff development, and program monitoring while aligning with funding requirements and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supervising, coaching, or supporting employees.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support CARE Coordinators providing guidance and mentorship to strengthen program delivery.
• Coordinate staff onboarding, training, and professional development.
• Facilitate staff meetings, trainings, and collaborative discussions aligned with program goals.
• Oversee day-to-day implementation of group-based services and resources.
• Ensure materials and ongoing support are available for program delivery.
• Monitor activities, staff performance, service quality, and family outcomes.
• Assist with data collection, documentation, and reporting per funding requirements.
• Support budget monitoring and ensure expenditures stay within approved limits.
• Build relationships with community partners to improve referrals and services.
• Gather program data and assist with required reports and outcome summaries.

Education
