Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program in Newark, OH seeks a Family Services Coordinator to provide advocacy and support for children and families, delivering in-home services, transportation, parenting education, counseling, and resource referrals.

You will collaborate with foster parents and community partners, travel daily, and document services to meet outcomes, with evening hours twice weekly and a commitment to safety and stable living.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field.
• 2 years of work experience in direct service with youth and families preferred.
• Valid professional license as required by state or contract regulations.
• Willingness to work flexible, non-traditional hours.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports, represents, and extends the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Available to work two evenings per week until 7:00 PM.
• Provides in-home services, transportation, parenting education, counseling, and referrals to youth and families in need.
• Travels daily to deliver community-based services.
• Completes all required documentation and trainings on time.
• Coordinates and monitors services for youth and families across multiple systems.
• Maintains strong relationships with foster parents and families of origin.
• Supports reunification or stabilization efforts per case plan.
• Provides safety assessments and crisis response as required.
• Meets productivity thresholds and participates in CQI activities.

Education
