Job summary

Children’s Learning Centers of Fairfield County (CLC) seeks a dedicated professional to oversee the family and community engagement components of the School Readiness Program in Stamford. You will recruit and enroll families, determine fees per state guidelines, and assist with CCAP applications, coordinating with DSS Eligibility specialists to ensure access to needed services.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Human Services/Social Work with 2 years related experience.
Hours: Monday–Friday 9:30–5:30 with 1 hr lunch.
Computer literate; experience with Microsoft Access preferred.
Translate correspondence to families as needed.

Responsibilities

Recruit families residing in Stamford and maintain enrollment.
Set School Readiness fees based on State Education fee scales; send weekly changes.
Assist families with CCAP applications and interact with DSS Eligibility Specialist.
Attend and participate in bi-weekly multi-specialty team meetings and monthly social service meetings.
Document meetings with parents and children; maintain confidentiality and high standards of record keeping.
