Job summary

Children's Learning Centers of Fairfield County is seeking an entry-level Preschool Teacher Aide to support young children at our Stamford locations. The role involves assisting with curriculum, supervising children, and maintaining a safe classroom environment.

Hours are typically 35–40 per week onsite, with schedules that are usually early mornings to mid-afternoons. A High School diploma is required, and some CDA coursework is preferred for growth within our program.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: working toward a CDA credential or coursework in Early Childhood Education.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Willingness to pursue ongoing professional development.

• Assist with the implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Supervise and engage young children.
• Support daily classroom routines and transitions.
• Help maintain a safe, healthy learning environment.

• Willingness to pursue ongoing professional development in early childhood, such as internal CLC training and OEC courses.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Levels of experience will be a key factor in candidate selection.
• Basic computer literacy.
