Job summary

Crow Wing County is seeking a compassionate Case Aide to join the Family Team. This role supports Child Support Officers with administrative and client service duties, helps assess needs, coordinate resources, and implement service plans to improve child and family well-being.

Under a Social Worker, you build positive relationships, monitor progress, document services, and connect families with community resources to enhance stability and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years of work experience in a similar role.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook; ability to learn other county computer systems.
• Experience in public welfare or related human services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client assessments and respond to service requests with appropriate actions.
• Execute client service plans to address needs and coordinate resources.
• Manage an active caseload, provide counseling and advocacy.
• Maintain case records with releases, demographics, services and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with agency financial parameters and maximize reimbursements.
• Collaborate with internal staff and external partners to resolve issues.
• Provide peer case consultation and participate in training opportunities.
• Maintain client confidentiality per MN data practices and HIPAA.
• Assist caregivers with parent coaching to support child development.
• Review policies and bulletins related to public assistance programs.
• Perform data entry and use multiple county/state computer systems.
• Investigate parental identity, location, and financial status as needed.
• Follow professional conduct and agency policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
