State of Iowa - Executive Branch is seeking a Child & Family Services Case Aid to work with social workers and families, focusing on connecting services, monitoring progress, and promoting safe, stable homes. The role involves on-call evenings and weekends, with potential telework after a 6‑month probation period.

You will coordinate resources, advocate for families, and help resolve barriers while maintaining confidentiality and building lasting relationships in the community.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Case Management, Public Administration, Sociology, Psychology, or Nursing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for some positions.
• Background check required prior to employment.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate services and resources tailored to each family’s needs.
• Monitor progress and celebrate milestones.
• Support permanency planning to ensure children have stable, loving homes.
• Advocate for families through collaboration with service providers and legal partners.
• Assist with Family Finding to locate relatives for placement.
• Audit cases to ensure documentation is complete.
• Organize and maintain confidential files.
