National Youth Advocate Program in Lafayette, IN is seeking an experienced caseworker to support children and families with advocacy, transportation, and community resources. You will work under supervision with youth, families, foster parents, and partners to promote safety and stable living in the community.

This full-time position requires a 4-year degree in social work or related field, night and weekend availability as needed, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
• Must have night and weekend availability as needed.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and a good driving record.
• Willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours in the service of families of origin and persons served.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports, represents, and extends the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Provides in-home supportive services, transportation, parenting education, counseling, community resource referral, advocacy, and other social service interventions to youth and family.
• Travels daily to provide community-based services to youth and families in compliance with requirements.
• Completes all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Completes all required trainings in a timely manner.
• Coordinates and monitors services for the youth and family in the community.
• Regularly reviews and modifies youth-based plans to ensure progress on written goals.
• Maintains strong relationships with foster parents and families of origin.
• Assists in family reunification and stabilization efforts.
• Provides safety assessment, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services as required.
• Consistently achieves established productivity thresholds.
• Participates in CQI activities on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Participates in weekly supervision.
