Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program is seeking an Experienced Family Service Coordinator in Evansville, IN to provide advocacy and supportive services to youth and families, working under supervision to promote safe, community-based living. The role involves coordinating transportation, parenting education, counseling, and referrals to partner services.

The position requires a 4-year degree in a related field, flexible hours including some evenings/weekends, and will require travel within the

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
2 years of work experience working in direct service with youth and families strongly preferred.
Must have flexible availability as needed, and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Actively supports, represents, and extends the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
Provides in home supportive services, transportation, parenting education, counseling, community resource referral, advocacy, and other social service interventions to the youth and family, meeting or exceeding established outcomes thresholds on behalf of persons served.
Travels daily to provide community based services to youth and families in compliance with organizational, contract, and regulatory requirements.
Completes all required documentation in a timely manner.
Completes all required trainings in a timely manner.
Coordinates and monitors services for the youth and family in the community, including mental health, medical, educational, psychological, vocational, and social services.
