Job summary

JusticeWorks YouthCare in Denver seeks a Part-Time Family Resource Specialist to support families as they navigate social service and legal systems. You will assess needs, connect families with community resources, and help plan interventions with an emphasis on evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities include attending court hearings when required and transporting clients as needed. This is a part-time, evening/weekend capable position with ESOP culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience working with children, youth, and/or families in various settings.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance and access to a vehicle.
• Pass current, applicable clearances.
• Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends.

• Assess and engage families in service planning based on demonstrated needs.
• Plan and implement appropriate interventions using evidence based and best practice approaches.
• Assist families in accessing and navigating community resources.
• Attend court hearings and provide testimony as required.
• Transport clients utilizing personal vehicle, as necessary.
