Job summary

JusticeWorks YouthCare is hiring a Part-Time Family Resource Specialist to support families as they navigate social service and legal systems. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for families, assess needs, connect them with critical community resources, and achieve stability.

The qualified Family Resource Specialist will have: High School Diploma; experience with children, youth, and/or families; valid driver’s license; clearances; and ability to work non-traditional

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Experience working with children, youth, and/or families in various settings.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and access to a vehicle.
• Pass current, applicable clearances.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assess and engage families in service planning based on demonstrated needs.
• Plan and implement appropriate interventions using evidence based and best practice approaches.
• Assist families in accessing and navigating community resources.
• Attend court hearings and provide testimony as required.
• Transport clients utilizing personal vehicle, as necessary.
