Job summary

JusticeWorks YouthCare in Ebensburg, PA is seeking a Part-Time Family Resource Specialist to support families as they navigate social services and legal systems. You will serve as a primary point of contact, assess needs, and connect families with community resources to achieve stability.

The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, experience with children and families, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience working with children, youth and/or families in a variety of settings.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and access to a vehicle.
• Pass current, applicable clearances.
• Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assess and engage families in service planning based on demonstrated needs.
• Plan and implement appropriate interventions using evidence based and best practice approaches.
• Assist families in accessing and navigating community resources.
• Attend court hearings and provide testimony as required.
• Transport clients utilizing personal vehicle, as necessary.
