Job summary

Three Rivers Therapy in Vancouver, WA, seeks a compassionate Family Peer to join the WISe Program. You’ll use lived experience as a parent or caregiver to support families navigating behavioral health and other systems of care, offering encouragement, advocacy, and practical help to empower outcomes.

As part of our care team, you’ll build trust, coordinate services, and work across locations to reach families where they are, with a focus on person-centered supports and community partnerships

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and families.
• Personal lived experience as a parent/caregiver.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Working knowledge of community resources.
• Ability to represent the agency professionally within the community.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic office technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop program needs and curriculum for peer-focused programming.
• Provide peer support services across Three Rivers Therapy programs, locations, and shifts.
• Lead educational sessions and adapt content to meet participants’ needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations.
• Maintain accurate client records and track progress.
• Advocate for clients’ needs and connect to resources.
• Provide crisis support following established protocols.
• Transport clients to appointments and travel as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
