Job summary

Blackbird Recruiting seeks a Reporting Analyst for a Brooklyn-based family office, reporting directly to the Controller/CFO and interfacing with senior management.

You will own reporting and treasury management across multiple trusts, deliver accurate financial reports on a recurring basis, and monitor cash positions to support strategic decisions. A fast-paced, high-visibility role with significant exposure to executives.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of experience in a professional finance or accounting environment.
• Advanced Excel skills — non-negotiable.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills; you’ll be in front of senior leadership regularly.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Quick learner who can hit the ground running with minimal hand-holding.

Responsibilities

• Own reporting and treasury management across multiple trusts.
• Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports for leadership on a recurring basis.
• Monitor cash positions, liquidity, and trust activity to support informed decision-making.
• Adapt quickly to a dynamic and evolving workload across multiple entities.
• Collaborate directly with the Controller/CFO and senior stakeholders on ad hoc analysis and projects.
