Job summary

The Quest Organization seeks a Controller for a Family Office role to act as the financial control and analytical backbone. You will ensure trade activity is accurate, cash positions are reconciled, and real-time data supports the Investment Committee.

This senior position requires strong expertise in investment operations, cash forecasting, and internal controls, with a focus on discretion and governance across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (CFA or CPA a plus).
• 5+ years of experience in investment operations, fund controllership, or family office/institutional asset management.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; familiarity with portfolio management systems and custodial platforms.
• High level of discretion — this role handles sensitive family financial data.

Responsibilities

• Review executed trades across custodians and platforms for accuracy, settlement, and compliance with investment guidelines and allocation bands.
• Prepare periodic performance and portfolio reports for the Investment Committee, including allocation vs. targets, liquidity, risk exposures, and benchmark comparisons.
• Maintain dashboards and scorecards for recurring governance meetings.
• Reconcile cash flows across entities, custodians, and legal platforms.
• Build and maintain cash flow forecasts and scenario models; support budgeting and multi-year capital planning.
