Our client is a multi-billion dollar alternative investment manager based in the Bay Area. The firm works in their office Tuesday - Thursday.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client seeks a Family Office Investment Associate to join the team. Job responsibilities include:

-Serve as trusted contact to family clients for day-to-day client service and family advisory needs.

-Support investment team in oversight and implementation of client portfolios. Areas of involvement include client onboarding, portfolio deployment, single stock risk management, ongoing rebalances, investment oversight, financial planning and risk management.

-Actively participate in portfolio management decisions to enable strategic family initiatives related to estate and tax-planning solutions such as transfers of interest, partnership distributions, and charitable gifting.

-Present at regular meetings alongside the investment team with potential and current clients.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-At least 2-5 years of experience working as an investment associate at a family office, endowment, FOFs or OCIO

-Strong undergraduate track record from a top institution

-Preference for candidates with a CFA, CFP or post-graduate degree

-Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
