Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree with emphasis in accounting, finance, or related business field.
• Academic success with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Interest in wealth transfer planning strategies (estate planning, insurance, estate/gift tax).
• Prior internship in Accounting/Finance or related field preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with estate planning techniques to support tax reduction strategies.
• Help construct personal balance sheets and cash flow projections; review documents and meet with clients.
• Research estate, gift, or trust income tax issues and prepare memorandums.
• Create practice tools, materials, and presentations on estate tax related topics.
• Prepare gift tax returns (709), estate tax returns (706), and trust income tax returns (1041).
